Rev. Steven & Doreen Parkhill

Pastor Steve is the lead pastor of South Canonsburg Church was ordained in 1985 and has served here since 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Literature: New Testament from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and a post graduate certificate from Lakewood Bible Institute. Professionally, he has served as the Dean of Students at Lakewood Bible Institute and Graceland University and as Director of Lakewood Bible Institute and Antioch University International.

Pastor Doreen is the Co-Pastor of South Canonsburg Church and has served here in the ministry since 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History Secondary Education with a Psychology minor. She has taught grades 8-12 in a Christian school and has served on the mission’s field in Africa, China, Eastern Europe and Mexico. Steven and Doreen Parkhill reside in Canonsburg with their two children.

Mrs. Green has earned a BSBA in Business Management from Waynesburg University, associate credits in Early Child Development and certification in Child Day Care Management. She has been involved with the Kids Church, Vacation Bible School and has put in many volunteer hours with the children’s ministries at South Canonsburg Church before accepting the position of Preschool Director in 1990. Mrs. Green has played a major role in the development of the program and its curriculum. Her heart’s desire is to plant seeds of hope and encouragement in the lives of children.

Kari Parkhill

 Day Program - Teacher
Kari Parkhill received her BS in Elementary/Special Education from Oral Roberts University. She is working on her PA certification and completing a Master’s in Special Education. She volunteers with Vacation Bible School, KIDZ Church and Nursery at South Canonsburg Church and is part of the Praise & Worship Team. Before stepping into the role of teacher at Rainbowland, she worked in a daycare setting as well as tutoring elementary age children. Miss Parkhill is excited to help young minds learn and thrive in an environment that is safe and positive, allowing them to be all that they are created to be.
