Ages: 2- 3 years old

Children who are 2 or 3 years of age by the entrance of school, and remain under 3 years while completing the school year, may attend this program. Any child turning 4 years old during the school year can not enroll in this program.

Children do not need to be toilet trained, but need to have been introduced to it. Diapers, wipes and a change of clothes will need to be sent in a small bag/back pack on a daily basis.  In order for us to help and support your child’s efforts with this skill, Staff must be notified if your child is in the “potty training” stage.


Preschool Registration

Ages: 3 - 4 years old

Children who attend this session must be 3 by the entrance of school and can not be turning 5 during the school year.  Exceptions will be considered, with approval from the Director.

Most children entering this program are toilet trained, or in the final stages of completing the process.  Those who have not quite mastered this skill, will need to wear a “pull up” style diaper.  Minor assistance will be given by the staff, but they must be familiar with using the toilet and willing to complete the task on their own.

Children usually have a general knowledge of upper case letter, numbers 1-5, shapes and colors, but it is not a requirement for entrance into this progam.  At the start of their school experience, they will be place in a groups in reference to their birth date.  Within one month of their enrollment, an evaluation will be completed and class placement may be adjusted.

Children who attend this program need to be at least 4 1/2 years old by entrance of school.  Exceptions will be considered, with approval from the Director.

Those entering this program must be completely toilet trained and able to complete the task on their own.

This class was designed to help develop and prepare children for the kindergarten experience.  Learning activities have been “bumped up” a notch.  Most children will have 50-75% knowledge of upper and lower case letters; understand numbers from 1-10 and their quantities; be able to identify shapes and colors, recognize their name and in the beginning stages of printing it.
